Sadly Diabetes is a disease that limits your lifestyle to the extent that you want it to. however keeping the levels in check is a hard task for most people that i know of. these suggestions are good and i will pass them on to my mom and friends

HA! What a reversal for Women’s Lib! But its about time women had a good excuse for house work. Spurts of activity during the day is good for increasing the metabolic response rate.
If we imagine our metabolism is responding like a hunter-gatherers, our evolutionary ancestors, then spontaneous activity is the best way to motivate our body chemistry to metabolise more efficiently. I prefer dancing myself, but at odd times I also find myself unconsciously cleaning - and now I know why!
