Haha! There is some logic in the question raised by you, I must say. However, those who can’t resist red wine, it’s a good way for them to have good cardiovascular health. Isn’t it??
red wines are really interesting,once as anti-cardiovascular disease, now for the anti-diabetes

Living in the wine country (Sonoma) there is some study that is published of benefits of drinking wines. I think most of those studies are paid for by wineries. Alcohol will counter act the benefits.

I love to drink socially and am devastated at not being able to social drink with my regualer crowd, (newly diagnosed) but am grateful that red wine would allow me to drink and maybe even seem sofisticated cuz I ”upgraded” to wine only! Thanks so much...

Was there more than one study done to prove the effect of red wine?
Also if resveratrol is found in the skin of red grapes, why not just eat grapes instead of drinking wine?
